A fourth-degree blackbelt and Certified Instructor through the Yom Chi Taekwon-Do Association, Mrs. Cook is a Class A certified referee and Instructor of Referees. She has taught more than 1,700 hours of Taekwon-Do and self defense, founding Red River Taekwon-Do in 2002.

Women's self defense is her passion, and she teaches "Common Sense for Self Defense" classes and seminars for private groups and organizations at every opportunity.

Mrs. Cook's instructor is Master Steve Blakeley, VIII Dan, of Granbury, Texas.  Founder of Eastern New Mexico Taekwon-Do, Master Blakeley is the author of four excellent books on Taekwon-Do.
